IE7 is better than firefox more stable and has got features like tabbed browsing, rss readers, phishing block etc.
There was just news that the automatic install in Japanese was postponed. So I guess in the coming months we are going to be getting news per language: now this language is getting automatic installation... For me as a designer with primarily Dutch clients this means a few more months of not having to worry whether my designs are IE7 proof - they should be, because IE7 is shipped with the explicit promise that designs should mostly look the way they do in IE6 - but still.
I have had nothing but trouble with my users since upgrading them to IE7, so i don't recommend it just yet unless your forced too.

It's not about tabbed browsing. It's about html and css standards that us developers have been wanting for ages. Granted not all of the features that firefox offers are in IE7, but it's alot better then IE6 in both css/html support and security. It's a manditory upgrade for all windows users and it will be stock on Vista.
I have used IE for a couple of days. I think that it is quite goods. I feel IE7 and FF 2.0 are getting more closer.
When ever we have the licenced version of microsoft operating system, then only we can install the IE7. Otherwise we cann't
