    Hello everyone,

I have a site ( http://IdYuh.com )that I have been working on for a while, my own little personal project I guess, everything is working fine except that I can't get the flash "banner" to show up on IE ... it works fine in firefox, but IE just shows a white box ...

Does anyone have a quick fix for this? It is bugging the $h*t out if me.

    Thanks for your help.

Sorry I can't help and I hate to tell you, but your site doesn't appear correctly in IE6 either.

I do not know the specific answer...but I have a place for you to look.

When embedding Flash, there is usually an OBJECT tag in the html and an EMBED tag. One tag is used by most browsers in the world, the other is used by IE (well, I might be exaggerating this just a little bit, but essentially it is true). I do not remember which is which. This is why both tags are usually included in an html file when posting flash.

It sounds to me like ONE of your tags is configured correctly and the other tag is not. I'd pretty much lay money on it (and I'm not a betting man!).

Take a look there and I'll bet you find the problem. A few Google searches ought to get you the info on each tag, but I suspect just a visual inspection may lead to an "ah-ha".

    Good Luck.
