I have experienced in the past month that my clickbank commission has gone down quite a bit. Yesterday, when I search from google about clickbank, I found a post on one of the blogs claiming that IE7 has block all the cookies from clickbank and all the performance we(publisher) has put down into PPC and other promotional tools have gone to waste. That's all because we do not gain commission from things we sold out! Sourced from earnersblog.com combined with my first hand experience
Hmm, I haven't heard of this and have had no complaints about it, but I suppose it's possible. I doubt it's all ClickBank cookies, perhaps it's more of a glitch with IE7?
IE7 doesn't block cookies unless you set it to reject 1st party cookies specifically. I tried it with a brand new install of IE7 and it was still just fine. The real trouble is with Spybot software and others who are programmed to call the Clickbank cookies as being spyware and thus delete it and prevent it from coming back, losing the sale. -T
That may explain why im down $61 and not a single convert. Turned some campaigns off, will be turning the rest off if still no converts and just make my own site and promote it.
