IE website logo placement

was wondering how people are placing thier logo in address bar of internet explorer and also on the tab system in opera...

I did exactly what it said and it didnt work...hrmmm

 

It may not show up straight away, close your browser and delete it from your favourites then add it afresh to your favourites.

 

so does the site have to be added to your favorites as well? I mean my site is in my favorites but I was just wondering...

update... ok I got it to work in IE but its not working on the tab in opera or deepnet...

nevermind now its working... strange how it took so long to work...lol thanks a lot guys....

 

have you to visit the site a few times for it to work

 

I.E sometimes has a hard time displaying the favicon. FF and Opera are much more reliable when it comes to displaying favicons.
Also ensure you have the correct file format (.ico) and it is correctly linked to the place it is stored on your server.
