IE suddenly stoppped working?

    my IE suddenly stoppped working. I am writing from Firefox
    is anyone else having the same problem?

    Just check to see if the button in settings for proxies is not checked.

    I rebooted and still can't get it work.. i am not sure whats wrong.. everything is working except IE

    Go to the setting tab and make sure it isn't set for proxy access to the net. Same thing happend to another guy on here and that is what is was.

    Go to Tools-->Internet Options---->Connections-->Settings it is in there under your connections either the lan part or under the connections window.

    Make sure the connection setting is correct also. If it is ok make sure IE is updated.

    Go to start, configuration screen, installed software, then remove IE and install firefox and/or opera :)

    enjoy, and kick the non web standard out (not that the others are 100%, but ok at least a bit better)

    Whenever i try to open IE, i get page cannot be displayed message and can;t browse anything
    if i open firefox, it works fine
    i used to have both of them work, but now IE is not working for last 2 days!

    i didn't change anything or installed anything..so i don't know whats causing IE to stop working
    and i have ver 7, which is the lastest version(if i am not wrong)

    You should consider using Firefox or Opera all of the time. It may be hard to get used to them, but they're both faster and more secure (especially Opera).
