IE rounded corners

    Hi again,

    I create a divs with rounded corner
    looking great in Chrome FF and friends.. (loading fast and smart way)

    But in IE7 & IE8 nothing wants to work
    (rounded corners and two background in 1div)

    Unfortunately i have to fix this :(

    border-radius works in all modern browsers. That's why it doesn't work in inept, incompetent IE.

    :p i know but my misson is to support IE7 and IE8 too..


    The reason I opened this topic is to achieve the best solution to my case, I'm going to use these blocks many times on my site. so its important to get the effictive way.

    You asked why rounded corners work in the modern browsers but not IE. You are using border-radius which doesn't work in IE. You did NOT ask for an alternative.

    The only alternative is to use images for rounded corners and this can easily be found using Google.

    I noticed, most of the forums will have repeated posts on similar kinda questions however a search will point to the older thread. There is thread "How to create a website or blog" (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2006216)... Though there are legitimate answers already posted but still members are posting the same answer. I think these are just post-padding or after signature promo.

    Hi to all friends,

    Yes its correct IE dosen't work for rounded corners, while my Boss is always checking everything in IE. :)

    Can't help it - IE sucks in many cases -- ask your boss to live on :)
