    I am trying to force the width of a webpage using the following code:

    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    margin-top:10px;
    width: 730px;
    background: url(images/tile.gif) repeat-x;
    background-color:#000000;
    font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size:11px;
    color:#000;
    border-right:1px solid #000;
    border-left:1px solid #000;
    border-top:1px solid #000;
    border-bottom:1px solid #000;

    As always, IE is causing issues and with the incorporation of php includes, the pages in IE are filling out the page to 100%. Please help.

    I tried the CSS code you provided and it displayed correctly in IE6. Your issue must be elsewhere.

    Where else would it be? What could cause that code to be forced to 100% width?

    If you post the entire page, we might be able to figure it out.
