After a few days of the release of version 0.2, Chrome is not eating anyone's anything, and any statistics that show, yes, people tried it, is gimmicky at best.

This seemed to be released in a big hurry, compared to the rest of Google Beta releases, Chrome seemed an after thought and a hurried job. Not typical of Google's product or services I would say.

I doubt that will ever happen. Those browsers are too good for Microsoft to handle.

How do you explain a 20 year old blue chip company that continues to improve profits at break-neck speed?

I doubt Microsoft cares much about Opera or FF. Microsoft is already the top browser provider, and a top 3 search provider. They are still looking at acquiring Yahoo which would make them a top 2, on their way to being the top search provider.

Microsoft is considered an equal opportunity employer and one of the top companies in the world to work for because of it's ethnic diversity, benefits such as medical, vision, retirement, and it's flexability in helping those with unique home and personal requirements.

Before you bash a multibillion dollar company from your $10 ikea desk, consider what is really going on with the larger picture at hand.

To be honest i will NEVER use chrome. You only have to use gmail to see why. See those ads displayed on the side of your emails? Say you get an email about car salesmen. THen the ads on the right will be about car salesmen. This means that they are READING your emails. Automated or not. There would be nothing stopping them storing this information.

i think they are losing the market share because they are not updating ie and not giving any further enhancements to it to make it easy for the people to use them.
