For some reason IE and Opera are closing windows automatically if they have certain terms in the title or content such as advert.ising << i had to make put that dot in there so i can actually load this page when someone replies. Firefox seems fine. I've just found that even local folders are being closed down when i just tried opening a folder called adverti-sing handbook. i dont know what to do! Any Idea?!
this applies to most pages, there is not specific link. its just a general thing - some sort of security setting on my computer is regarding things as spam and closing them down and closing the windows down without my permission. I dont know what it could possibly be but it is really annoying and I dont even want it. I'm extremely computer literate too so its not a case of me just not knowing how to use the computer.
ok... cool man i belive that you are familiar with computer stuff... i don't mean to flame you... sory if i heard like that (just try to help, here)
im not sure if im honest - it seems to be words related to advertising, although seeing as im using opera now it is fine ... - a few pages that refuse to load include 'example pages' in my publisher accounts. -forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=90 (the advertising forum on dp) - a folder on my computer called 'advertisers handbook' which i had to rename to handbook so i could open the folder (It is windws explorer that is affected in this case) as far as im aware i dont have a popup blocker. and dont worry i werent offended, i was just trying to eliminate some obvious noob checkpoints.
