    Howard, he's posting his experiences. HIS experiences. Don't accuse others of lying when you've already clearly proven yourself to be one.

    @corwin,

    If I'm wrong. Show me where I'm wrong and quit posting your brilliant words. You don't know anything so I know you won't but this is the second time I'm giving you the offer: If IE8 is technically as good as Firefox, Opera, Safari or Chrome, show me. Show where the technical equivalence or superiority is. I don't mean one point here or there. I mean overall.

    You say you don't believe anything I say yet everything I say I've backed up for you with links. You've never done that. In fact, the most brilliant attempt you've made is to repeat my words exactly back to me. How childish. You are a child.

    What I'm saying to you is this: you will be unable to show IE8 is a superior browser to any of those 4 listed above because it's not only true but you are incompetent yourself and a fool. Your other posts on this forum show you do not care about technical issues because you don't hang out in the technical boards. You have no technical knowledge and that's why you never answer my questions to you. Because you can't because you don't know anything. You will fail.

    So, corwin, how about it? Can you show us something other than a Microsoft PR release showing step by step technical superiority of IE8 over all those other browsers? Or will you be wise and disappear for a couple weeks as you always do?

    I think it is very similar to firefox now.. It seems like microsoft has been snooping the other browsers for ideas. :D

    All the browsers interfaces are similar. IE8s has a terrible user interface that a lot of the UX people blog about. However, IE8 is nothing like Firefox, or any other browser, technically. See my links below. It's inept at best and 11 years behind all other browser in modern standards and practices.

    No one needs or should use IE8. If you notice, no professional coders use IE for anything but testing. ALL use some other browser, be it Firefox, Opera or Safari and sometimes Chrome. ALL professional coders make fun of IE.

    Since all professionals shun IE8, maybe you should, too.

    Internet Explorer is NOT standards compliant compared to other browsers manily FF.
    and also, FF has lots of very good extns.

    so, almost 90 % of web developers prefer to work with FF.
    So...IE will lose the browser war....but slowly.

    I refuse to use any browser that isn't standards compliant. IE is the worst thing ever, especially when you have to design website around it.

    Firefox will always be better than IE, source wise and user friendly wise.

    In my opinion Firefox is more stable and fast loading, IE 8 is bulky and consumes more system resources.

    Firefox is still better and better from time to time. At the present, it's the best browser and far better than any IE. IE still alive in my computer because there is some websites require IE to run properly.
