IE sucks! I never had any problem with firefox, starting from the earlier versions, 1.3 1.5. and now 2.0 it works perfect all the time! IE on the other hand is much more insecure, though I didnt have any crashing issues with it either :)

freezing stuff is most probably associated with particular hardware, I own XPS gaming laptop m170 its a beast with 2gigs of ram, not a single program ever crashed or froze on it :) on the other hand, security on FF is allot firmer than that on IE7! you can read cnet review on that :)

for all microsoft funs out there... IE SUCKS MAJOR ASS!

    Here's my feedback with IE7:
    1) It seems slow and bulky when opening empty/blank tabs compared with Opera or FireFox.
    2) Why dont they offer a setting to just remember the tabs automatically and open them on start up like Opera and FireFox?
    3) If you have 20 tabs open and IE decided to crash, say goodbye to all your tabs. It doesnt even crash gracefully, at least prompt the user to open all their tabs the next time they load IE after a crash.

In my opinion, dont attempt to play the tabbing game unless your product is 101% reliable. In my opinion, Opera used to be King until FireFox 2 was released. Now FireFox 2 is King and the other two playing catch up.

I recently installed IE 7 and FF2 .. I found IE7 better than 6 .. anyways, who uses it now ? I am a loyal FF user for quite a long time now :)

I just bought a new PC and I was using IE7 for a while there... I'm surprised nobody has mentioned here that they totally block the installation of Flash. I spent an hour or so trying to get it installed, and then just switched to FF2.0 which is lovely.

IE7 sucks big time. I use Outlook, SalesForce.com, and a few other apps that use web portals.

With IE7, my SalesForce view is all messed up. Granted, we've done some tweaks to it but I get all sorts of errors. When I'm using Firefox, there are no issues.

NOW, here's the big BS flag- If I use our Outlook web portal on Firefox, it's all jacked up. You can't convince me that MS didn't do that sh** on purpose!

Oh yeah, and they blatantly copied Firefox anyway. Other than the functionality of course

IE7 is prone for hangups and it takes longer to load a page, thats why i use FireFox most of the time

IE 7 is a lot nicer than any of its previous version but the only reason i don't use it is its slow speed. Its slower than FireFox and Opera browsers to a noticeable extend, if it wasn't for the speed i would be definitely using the microsoft's giant.. i won't blame IE 7 for that, its still using the stone aged IE 4 engine.

Right now i'am using Firefox 2 and Opera 9, they are doing just fine.

Most of the time, it's due to your own misuse of Windows. IE7 associates with the Explorer. If you mess up your Windows, it will get affected too.

    I love IE, as always.

I've been using Firefox for some time. It's good, but not as good as before. With more and more features added in, Firefox is consuming more and more of my CPU resources, and some time crashes. So in my opinion, IE is somehow getting better, while Firefox is getting worse.

I am using FireFox and i am very much happy with it.

Right now i am using firefox 2.0.01.

I liked the "new tab" facility in it very much. I suggest to use firefox rather than ie. :)

Well I've been using Opera since long times and I am very happy with Opera. They lunched new version 9.02 and it rocks for me. IE7 is totally suck for me.:D Opera is faster brwoser and also have good features which you could not find anywhere.

I like the way IE 7 zooms the page in and out with Ctrl +/- instead of just changing the font size. That is the way it ought to be done!
