this should be the end of internet explorer... more and more users realize that it is not good, the only reason we use it is because internet explorer is by default on windows.
I don't really like the interface for IE7 and I honestly don't know why. It doesn't appeal to me I guess, and Firefox has always been good to me. FF2 isn't exactly too stable though. It seems to be locking up once a day/every two days for some reason, however I guess this will be fixed.
IE7 is kool .. but so is firefox .... btw finestwineracks you can use system restore to go back to ie 6 or use the " SET PROGRAM ACESS & DEFAULT " from start menu .. and then choose your defaul browser .
What really stinks about IE7 is that it upgrades the integrated browser of Windows. At work we have a Windows app that uses html embedded within a window. IE6 and before, we had no problems, now we are getting phone calls wondering why our app is missing (error on main screen). Ugghhh. For browsing, I use Opera... very nice.
IE7 definitely sucks. Once I installed it, I immediately wanted to get rid of it. Microsofts future is not looking so good if they keep putting out TERRIBLE software like this.
IE 7 works good, but the interface sucks. I like firefox 2.0 and in firefox, there are a lot of cool seo extensions as well as nice themes... I like macfox II (looks like safari)
one cannot simply lash at IE7 just because Firefox is a underdog as compared to Microsoft. generally people tend to support a underdog but they know the reality. this is just my comment i really like both IE7 and FF2 my firefox2 has had crashed several times but IE7 not even once.
At First I was definitely a IE7 sucks, big time Now I'm like, it sucks but I'll live with it I guess. I'm a Flock man myself. MS didn't really tailor IE7 to anyone. It's got a crappy feed agregator, i mean really crappy, no functionality or customization what-so-ever. The tabbed browsing makes me feel like I'm using dialup. If I have a browser open for more than 3 hours it's gonna freeze, guaranteed. And the damn frozen navigation bar at the top. You know they did that crap so you won't go back to firefox or flock where you can actually move the forward and back and stop buttons where you want them and the damn bar isn't frozen to the top! Ok, I still don't like it. But i live.
Agree with this 100% also look at your web server status my server gets 92% of all user are using IE 6 or 7 think about it that 8% of the people use firefox. I like both of them. each has it pros and cons. But face it IE will always be on top one it's comes with windows. Someone that know nothing about computers would not know firefox from IE. So MS wins that.
