looks like a way of keeping track of where the clicks are comming from, there are many scripts that do it

 

Let's guess how many traffic this site is receiving each day. This site is getting around 30-50 clicks each day.

So my bet is 200 visitors per day?

 

Oh I know, I use one...... but leaving it public... that's the question.

Anyways, it's a classic example of Google penetration test. You would not believe what kind of stuff Google caches that's not supposed to be seen by public. All it takes is just a single link (in most cases dynamically generated) from a public page, and voila - all your private life is now public.

 

The only problem I could see with that is if he alter the AS code, but I'm sure it could be done without doing that so it seems ok to me.
