iDevAffiliate Help

I recently purchased iDevAffiliate, which came highly recommended by several sources. Set up was easy, but now I'm trying to find out how this software integrates with ClickBank. iDevDirect.com (the software maker) will not respond to any of my support tickets (actually they keep closing the tickets without responding) and I am now reading similar experiences from others.

Does anyone have technical knowledge with regard to how iDevAffiliate integrates with ClickBank? I don't see a place in iDevAffiliate for my affiliates to input their ClickBank nickname, so how would the sale get credited to an affiliate if a banner or text ad is used from iDevAffiliate?

    Regards,
    Brad

I'm confused. Why would you need to integrate the two. They are both affiliate tracking solutions - you would use one or the other but not both.

Maybe I'm missing something but this does not make sense to me. What are you selling and are you already a CB merchant? If so then why do you need Idev too?

I wanted to use a professional affiliate software package so that I could have a database of affiliates selling my product. This way I would know who top sellers are and offer additional incentives to them. I thought it would also be a much easier way to encapsulate all my banners, text ads and other marketing tools into one package. Most of the top sellers I've researched on ClickBank use some form of affiliate software to manage the process.

I'm new to this so at this point I'm looking for a "setup" that will allow my site to run smoothly and efficiently. I'm definitely looking for suggestions and any help that more experienced online marketers can offer.

we installed idevaffiliate about two weeks ago and were amazed at the power of the software. There is lots that can be done with it.

My only critisim is customisation of the homepage was rather difficult to edit, but finally worked it out.

The affiliate site is at http://www.dining-downunder.com/idevaffiliate/

    Cheers

I don't understand your problem either. If you want to have your own affiliate tracking and management system then idevaffiliate may meet your needs.

However in that case there's not much reason to stick with clickbank, which "owns" the affiliates and pays them directly. Why do you still need Clickbank?

I don't think you can mix the two easily - it would confuse your affiliates.

It appears you rushed ahead and bought a script without planning it beforehand.

Maybe you can restate your problem more clearly.

    Cheers,
    Peter
