I run a freebies website. I started it back in May. http://www.ozfreestuff.com It's Australian freebies only. I currently get 1000 unique visitors per month. I make around $10 per month on Adsense. I'm looking for ideas to generate more traffic and promote the site. Searching for "free stuff" or "freebies" in Google Australia, my site is nowhere near the first page...it's way back somewhere. I do get a good number of visits from US visitors...so I thought maybe if I added a US section? It's got a PR 2 after 2-3 months which I was quite happy with. Any suggestions would be very welcome!
Perhaps instead of a US freebies section within your current site, you can establish another domain for US freebies. And repeat for other countries as well. Essentially starting your own little network. You may want to start collecting leads by email as well. Since everyone is looking for freebies it may be hard to sell them anything but this audience could turn out to be good converts for the right type of affiliate program.
