Idea's to Make my Site/Profits Less Dependent on eBay

Currently, I make about 90% of my profits off of eBay and my product deals with video game guides (not prima guide books but info on cdroms). However, I want to begin to move away from that and have most sales made off of my webpage instead or other sites (related or not to eBay). I have tried other auction sites, youtube, directory submission, SEO, etc.. all in an attempt to make traffic and drive sales. However, I still cannot move sales away from eBay... Does anyone have any ideas of things I can try to achieve this? Help would be much appreciated!

Also, I thought about affiliate programs on clickbank does anyone know of any good tutorials to help with this?

It is pretty difficult to sum up online marketing in one post ... when you make 90% of your sells from ebay then you fail at online marketing, but I can not do any deeper analyses when I do not see your site, or the advertising you did already.

    Hey There,

Firstly well done on making profits from selling online ...... many never make anything !

Secondly, could you use the traffic you are getting from eBay to "re-direct" to your sales page?

Also send your own site address to your list (you have been collecting a list haven't you ?) so they can see your other offers.

JV with other, related, affiliate sellers.

There are probably loads more, but I'm off out

    Hope that helps to start,

    Ped
