I am currently renting out my site no-lag.com until the end of this month. The renter is not renewing, and I am not sure what to do with the site when I get it back. What do you all think the name is good for? Anyone else want to rent it or make some deal to use it? Thanks for any ideas nolag
I had no idea that people "rented" websites. Would you care to elaborate on this? Thanks, Perhaps you could PM me.
I think you can sales the link, if your PR is high enough of course.... Or just make it a advertise site...
Wikipedia says, "In computer networks, lag refers to delays in information transmission between network nodes." Wiktionary.org gives a little more: "In casual use, lag and latency are used synonymously for 'delay between initiating an action and the effect', with lag more casual. In formal use, latency is the technical term, while lag is used when latency is greater than usual, particularly in internet gaming." One suggestion is then to use it for a site offering solutions for slow connections or delays between two points.
why not sell it then, if you have no ideas? as the domain is with a hyphen I think lot of people will confuse it with nolag.com if you ever decide to build something around it.
I suppose that is right time to start selling these domain names. There are a lot marketplaces on namepros on domain news forums and other places
I don't think I would get enough for a sale to be worth it. Also I think that I would like to get the PR up or something if I am going to sell it. Renting a site works like this, You pay me, I change the NS to your NS for the rental period. After the renal period you can rerent it or not. If you are interested in renting it let me know and we can work out a deal.
