Deja vue all over again? Five years after the dot.com bubble burst, I was astounded to learn (belatedly - too much time spent on HTML puzzles, too few brain cells) that a London IPO is expected to value this p.o.s. (Perfectly Outstanding Stock) at $10bn., ...or was expected to value it that much, except for the late and extremely inconvenient realization that the Yanks probably couldn't buy any of its shares - see here and especially here Yet again, it seems, I have missed the billionaire boat. However, all is not lost. I have been reading these threads for a while, and know that there are some very smart people in DP. So I thought, "Fergit AdCents, who better than them, to give me some ideas for the next billion dollar internet business?" Any suggestions? Think big folks!
AS IF anyone with a serious > 1 mil plan would even THINK of sharing it with a stranger. You must be joking... Very lazy too...
Make an ugly site and you'll get rich. Intelligent humans don't tell others what will make some one else rich. They go try it themselves and shut up about the idea!!!! (I learned that the hard way two years ago!!)
Whoa TOPS! This thread was meant as a bit of fun, to drive some futuristic, maybe even wild speculation, and to point out that the most unlikely (at the time - 8 years ago) business models can pay off in a spectacular way. I Know I am not lazy, given the time I spend working on my sites, as well as my day-job, but thank you for your contribution.
