Hi, I have invented a product that tracks the main indices in the stock market (like the NASDAQ or the SP500) and gives fairly reliable signals that a big sell off or crash is happening. It is not perfect but is much better than the current approaches out there. I plan to sell it, but am wondering how to structure the product offering. The basic system could be a set of videos and PDFs detailing the system. Like a set of rules, eg- if XYZ happens do this... etc.... I have created some "indicators" that compute data from various sources which are needed for this. However, I am unclear what the lead report would be - as most approaches tend to give a free report away in return for an email address, etc... If I give the system away in the free report, I wont have anything to sell. And what upsells could there be? A general discussion..... Thanks! Alex
Hi Alex, I would suggest giving a general outline of your product along with some data on how successful it can be for your free report. Give the prospect enough detail to intrigue them, get them interested and have them want to learn more without giving away the real secrets. Without knowing your product or intended price points maybe offer the pdfs at a starter price then up sell the videos with them. You could research higher cost trading programmes that enhance or compliment yours to offer as a further up sell. You may be able to buy a license to these or offer them as an affiliate. Good luck with your product. Gordon ( EllipseBoy)
Thanks Gordon. RE: price points. Any idea on what these things go for - ie. front end offer then main offer?
In my experience anything from $7 to $20 for a front end as long as it represents good value. Main offer will depend on how much more info is contained in the product and how convincing your sales pitch is on potential future earnings. Not really up to speed in the trading market so cannot comment on potential earnings, sorry.
Don't overthink it man. just make a report called "3 stock tips that you've never heard of" and add in your original content. Think of it as a way to bait your target audience. they love stocks. they want knowledge. they want secrets. And i learned once from a stock guy that the average stock buyer thinks the successful 1% have knowledge that the average joe doesn't. play on that. "3 stock tips from Warren buffet". It sounds cheesy and too simple but its actually something that people in this niche are having massive success with
