Ideas for website ( I don't have original content)

I want to start some nice site and it can be anything it's not a problem for me, so I need your idea. The only problem is I don't have content and I don't want to write articles, etc.

I guess I could set up site with different scripts ( eg. url shortener, video coverter, etc), make tube site, etc. but the problem is I don't know what is popular and it would have success.
Any ideas on this would be very appreciated

if your good at coding, and making websites, make a website promoting yourself and your skills and what you can do for others in terms of websites and website development

This way, when you do come up with an idea and then create a niche site, that becomes part of your portfolio, (easier for cross-promoting)

Ha ha that is a good idea! You can also get clients on craigslist and freelance websites like odesk, guru and the likes..
