Ideas for Travel Forum

    I am thinking of adding a travel forum on my website. How can I get users for the forum. I am thinking of giving away some prizes for first 2-3 months. Where can I advertise about my forum for free and get noticed

    You can market your site by submission to directory and promote it using Adword

    You can submit your forum to travel directories at first.
    Then you should offer some sort of incentives like you suggested for the first months.
    I would suggest you offer a payment to first 20 people who post 15 posts with at least X amount of words for example. About 0.1$ sounds fair.
