    Hi

I started my sports blog a few months ago and I have started to make some real money with it. I would love to put some of that money back into the website. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I know Ad Words and I am considering Ad Words. I am not sure about your other ideas. Also weighing whether I should spend the $ on Ad Words or pay to submit site to Yahoo Search.

If it's extra money ... why not invest? Anything you put in the stock market right now is sure to grow in 10 years ... at least take 10% of what you make and invest ... do whatever with the rest. If you're making money from your website, just keep doing what you're doing. Only spend the money if you see it necessary ... don't go LOOKING to spend. That's where many people kill themselves.

I see your point. I am not looking to dump a ton into it. I just figured that I should put back into my website. Your stock idea is not bad at all.

I have yet to pay for an article, not that I wouldn't if I needed one on something specific.

I notice a lot of my competitors using adwords, but I really don't see the value ... I probably just haven't perfected a good technique.

Well I am going to take some of your advice and try it. I'll run through the weekend with a budget of $5 a day and see how it works.

Try Facebook Ads. They are cheap and works very good for blogs. Also you can get lot of free coupons for FB Ads.

Thanks. I have taken all of your advice. Running a sports blog it is kind of hard to embrace one specific target audience. I have settled on fantasy football. I am currently trying ad words and facebook. Wish me luck!

have a competition... maybe buy some tshirts with your website name on them and a cool picture and quote and give them away... do something different to create "buzz"... if you've really got some money to spend you could do some trade show marketing... I know where you can get some trade show booths... :)

but seriously, I would look into some kind of contest that would create a little BUZZ.

Try to promote your domain name so that you can gain more traffic.Of course, blog optimization is also important.Adwords is a good choice but you should pay for it.
Therefore, keep updating and optimizing your site on and on so that the effect of the adwords can be better and better.

I took some of your advice. I paid the $49.99 or so for Yahoo and it has helped tremendously. I signed up and placed some yahoo ads as well as Facebook and Google. Haven't seen a tremendous increase, but so far so good.

If your on a roll just keep expanding, the formula your using must be working, so maybe start a new blog with a similar theme and interlink them, just keep building on your success!
