Does anyone have ideas on how to marketing online training courses? We are trying to generate leads. For the most part, our leads come from email blasts (sent to both the house list and rented lists). My company has a Facebook page, we are a group on LinkedIn, and we're also on Twitter. Since the courses are online, it is fine if the leads are international. Our target market is IT people. Thanks for any input!
Well there are all sorts of marketing tools and techniques that you can use. I suggest you use email marketing services such as solo ads, newsletters, and ezines. Make sure that the email marketing service has targeted emails and contact emails. Targeted emails allow you to send your emails to people who have subscribed to that particular list. This increases the chances of the email being read. Also try joining other social networks geared towards business men and women and web entrepreneurs.
You have marketing training classes, but you don't know how to market them? Well, ok, then. ... Sign me up for a course!!
You may consider these options 1. Free Sample - Give a free trial for period for your online training courses. Make them limited to rush people for try it out. You may give them a discount coupon only applicable for those ones whom currently in trial period. This could help increase a chance to convert them to paid member. 2. Contest and Prize - Convince people to sign up for your class by announce a contest for your apprentices after the course ended, with a prize like "1,000 Cash". 3. Affiliate - Convince people to draw visitors to your course. If those visitors sign up, the referrer would get a commission.
