Hi folks New to digital point and have been reading threads for a few hours. I was interested in any nice ideas people might have to gain traffic and backlinks for my two sites. These are www.thelingerieblog.com and www.ukmba.co.uk. thelingerieblog.com was doing well till a few months ago until I had server issues. Its recently been rebuilt so will hopefully start to see traffic again when it rises up the SERPS. I've done some forum posting, submitted some articles etc, but progress has been slow these last few weeks..... Need some inspiration if anyone has any!
Are you using social bookmarking for your blog posts. Stumbleupon.com delivers some great traffic. Also how are you submitting articles? Are you using a service or just submitting to one or two directories? Article submissions can be really great if you are using a service like uniquearticlewizard.com

Swap links with cool people who have related websites and post awesome content so people link to you! Videos are also a prime way in my opinion. Post on other people's blogs and just try to meet people and spread the word!
As per my knowledge, first of all you have to make your blogs OR sites search engine friendly before try to getting visitors..There is theme error showing on your second blog ukmba.co.uk so please fix it OR use another Search Engine friendly WP template (You can also use adsense friendly template, if you want to earn from Adsense. ) Thanks

Regarding article marketing, I'm doing manual submissions, and I was told that ezinearticles delivered 99% of the benefits from article marketing. Would you guys agree with this?
ya I do agree article marketing is one of the best. when you have people reading articles you know they want to learn something new. when they are in this state of mind when your articles are full of useful point and you really know how to play with their emotion you will get them click to see your site thru the bio resources.
you said rebuild, was the directory structure modified? did you do a 301 redirect? concentrate on SEO technicals first and then go for linkbuilding. Having a site with broken links will lead you to failure. Thank you
