Hello everyone, I need some suggestions for my images based site. It's getting 1k UV per day and m' planning to have it 5k/day in next 6 to 8 weeks. This is my first experience with image based content and so far it's going good in terms of traffic, however, revenue seems to be a hard thing over images and it's paying very low. I cannot use Adsense as they declined my application and the options I am left with are Chitika, Clicksor etc, which combinely are paying too low. I want to market the site somewhere from where it can get high paying ads. Any ideas, what and how should I do stuff! @Mods, Please, more this thread to appropriate category if this is not the right place, as I tried looking here and there and didn't find any other place better than this one to place my query! The best hope I could say is try to get approved with adsense again, maybe on a different account. Or you could contact them and ask what the deal is. If you're content (I assume is just alt tags, and titles) is relevant to high paying CPC keyword ads, you should get some money with that traffic.
Even if you were to get approved by Adsense, they're typically not a good ad network for an image type site because you're going to want to earn through CPM (cost per impression) and not click through. Adsense doesn't pay well for cost per impression. I would research CPM networks for lowering traffic / entry level sites like yours.
mmm have a try with Adbrite (full page ads, banner ads). i think it would be of helpful to you in generating higher revenues then chitika and clicksor.
