mystate site, eh? My quick brainstorming... something about your state or a site where people can come together and share tourist hotspots in their state or you can research that yourself and offer that information to the public as a sort of travelers' resourceful website (you can create subdomain names e.g. texas.mystate.org, newyork.mystate.org or you can put the abbreviation of the state like tx.mystate.org, ny.mystate.org and so on) start a directory or search engine about any particular state or several where (can use the sub-domain idea with this one, too) start a community or forum where people come to express their state of mind; something like poems, stories, rant and raves about any and everything create a software program like some brainwave technology, subliminal messaging system or some of those cds like holosync that focus on the concept of "help accomplish your dreams by changing the way you think" --- which would be some sort of state of mind and call the software mystate development or something uhh... that's the end of my brainstorming. Oh well in which case I'd just go with the first one and... something about the state or a site where people can come together and share tourist hotspots in that state or you can research that yourself and offer that information to the public as a sort of travelers' resourceful website (you can create subdomain names for cities e.g. sacramento.mythestatename.org, sandiego.mythestatename.org and so on) or a news site, directory or search engine of all that is occurring in that particular state or specifically the most funniest, weird, bizarre things found in the state, discoveries, local musicians, people can post their videos and photos of their life in the state whether boring or fun be like that state's version of "youtube" or "myspace" - so it would be like some social community site or you can create something completely non-related to the name of the site like some dating site or turn the name to be symbolic of something, a brand even and find a niche for it and products, services and/or information that will fill it. or have it be the yellow pages specific for that particular state that it just better than any other yellow pages and/or whitepages or create a business directory finding businesses in the state and centralize them on one website you know like of some small businesses like companies like Wal-mart who are worldwide already; rather small local businesses known only to the residents of the state and reveal them on the site for worldwide publicity (may even be profitable if you talk with the business owners about it and such but I'm not going to get into all of the details of that). alright...end of that brainstorming.
Info on all the us states on a CMS with info and comments on where people like to go and what they like to do, ask people to post videos and stuff of them going through their area and showing the hottest clubs and stuff around, also they could do image tours, and pics of the nightcubs and stuff, and the best entries would get a prize and you could have sponcers giving stuff away, like tickets to some concerts to a grand prize winner who gives the best most awesome work, get a nice sleek site template too with a few ad banners, but nothing too much. Then just let the site run itself. Oh and most of all, have a search function. so if someone wanted to go to the us from another country or go to a different state other than their own they they could search for your site before going to find cool places. I mean local people tend to know the best places to get stuff I guess you could extend it to somewhere people could arrange events like gaming tournaments, and post it so that people will see it. Just basicly fun events and sports activities which people want others to turn up to
meet with a lawyer, put together a proposal, and sell it to allstate insurance, they got money out their ass.
