Ideas for a Christmas site?

I have a site related to Christmas. It talks about all the holiday traditions, you can see where the christmas tree came from, why do we give gifts at xmas, etc.

I want to add more content, so any ideas are welcomed. The site also has a few cooking recipes for traditional dishes like turkey.

Someone told me to add a postcard section, but it would be quite difficult getting hold of decent postcards that are public domain.

    Any other ideas?

What about lyrics to Christmas carols, links to Christmas movies, music, etc.

Does it cover just normal baking of a turkey or do you have alternative methods like Smoking a Turkey or Deep Frying a Turkey? Both are very popular options around here...

    • Xmas avatars
    • Summer Xmas avatars
    • code snippets so you can have javascript snowflakes floating down your screen (even though I loathe sites that do that)
    • links to mambo, xoops, nuke themes that are xmas oriented
    • email address or online form for the kiddies to send their xmas wishes with autoresponder to say thanks from santa
    • xmas posting guide around the world
I could go on for days...

Welll... this site is in spanish, and targeted to the average mon and pop, not at webmasters.

And hey, I have the snow flakes falling across the screen... :D

But yes, it does look horrible, I am getting rid of it

When cooking the chicken in the oven, put it on a rack with water below, the chicken absorbs the vapour and makes it more succulent, oh and wish lists/unusual gift ideas and letters to Santa are always popular Fry.

? Dude, maybe you live in too hot a country, snow is just cool, watching it expand makes the kids jaw DROP and the people I have shown it to just love watching the reaction I even registered a domain which I cant remember now something like magicsnow.net will have to get back to that!, some folks/adults use it for displays ie nativity, some teachers use it for showing reactions ie chemistry, and kids just love because its cool! Its the same stuff that films use so they say.

My son (5yrs old) uses his diggers/tractors etc just to move it about, shit what do you do with a toy car - just drive it about, its a fun fad, what do you do with a balloon? They sell thats all that matters.

I take it back about the snow, the mom and pop users will probably love it. Kids definately!

Online xmas cards are a must and with a few php skills you can diy - it's just getting the artwork that's hard :)

Xmas sales are good since your site is regional. and "post a xmas message" to a loved one would be good.

get people to send you an original (ie their artwork) xmas postcard and you'll blog the best received. A bit like postsecret only happy.
