    Hi there,

I want to know what should be the size of an article regarding SEO. 500 words, 700 words or above 900 words ?

Secondly, for how many keywords an article can be optimized ?

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards

I usually do 500 words and target 1 keyword each page/article.

If you have an article bigger than 500 words you can split it on two pages.

250 words are enough, depends on the requirements in article directories. Ezinearticles require 250 words but paragraphs must be properly arranged and focus on proper grammar

You can go for a higher number of words or may be less also but just make sure the article which you are submitting should have headers which should give an idea what is there in the article. You can make the article into different parts to make it more interesting for the readers.
Many people have a habit of just skimming the text so by reading the heading they decide whether to read it carefully, just skim it or leave it.

I do prefer 450 plus words on every page. If it exceeds, I'll split it into 2 pages..

You want to vary it. Do somewhere between 300 to 900. It's got to look "natural" to the SEs. If you are consistently hitting a certain word count, that won't look "natural".

Current and future SE updates will hurt you.

I think 250-300 words are enough. Most of the major article directories are also accepting the articles with 250+ words.
