Can someone tell me the best number of outgoing links that should be placed on a link page? I have been told that 20 was the optomuim number, but I cannot get the validated anywhere.
It depends on what your end goal is actually as far as I'm concernd - and also the type of site or link page you're talking about. A sitemap - 150 A directory listing page 10 to 20 Outbound links for passing optimal PR value - 10 Just my personal "tastes" nothing that validated anywhere that I'm aware of. Great question though; it'll be interesting to see the responses and opinions.
