Ideal length for blog post on main page ?

    What is the ideal length of blog posts on main page as default it is 10 in blogger and 7 in wordpress. What is the ideal length as per SEO.

    I believe default numbers are fair enough for SEO as well.

    yes default length is good but i like 10 posts on main page ....I don't think so this thing is matter in SEO.

    There is no real "ideal" number.

    If you have more posts, your page might take longer to load, and people will have to scroll down a lot to reach the bottom of the page.
