Ideal CPC / CPM for a travel forum

    Hi,

    Does anyone have an idea how much i can ask an advertiser (CPC / CPM) ?
    I have a travel forum with 1000 uniques / day.

    Why not use adsense or any other network and save time to find advertiser

    The advertiser is contacting me. That's why.
    But i'm using adsense too.

    In that case you should check with advertiser how much they want to start paying and I would suggest most of the time such advertiser cheat too, so you should be careful

    They all want to pay as less as possible.
    But I have no idea about how much i can ask. If I ask too much the advertiser will not get back to me. If I give it away cheap he will be happy and I just receive peanuts.

    €1 / CPM or €0.10 / CPC

    Is this reasonable? Or should i go up or down? I have no idea...

    To be honest if I were advertiser unless I know what product and conversion I am getting, I won't pay that kinda of rate for Belgium traffic

    The advertiser is from Belgium too so it's perfect for him. Most of his customers are from Belgium.

    What would you pay for relevant traffic from your own country then?

    At the max $0.30 CPM and $0.05 CPC - if the traffic is of good quality and performing well in terms of clicks/conversions. I would also take it on a week by week basis to evaluate the results before committing long term.
