Perhaps someone could have a look and advise me on what way of advertising would be best to make money on the website. I'm currently with moreniche but it isnt really working. first of all, if you are using only as a forum, it will be better to use phpBB. Advertising, you can use a lot of different types. Affiliates, ad network, your own ads, etc..
