Hey everyone, I've come up with a clever way to possibly reduce refund rates with Clickbank, especially with those products that you know for a fact are quality products. This is in response to clickbank's new Support Ticket system which unfortunatly has caused refund rates to increase with certain products. Here's what I decided to do. For products whose refund rates have increased since the changes, I've decided that, at the end of each day I will gather the email's from each transaction and send the customer a free bonus via email....as a "thank you for trying out "Product", here's a special bonus package to help with your success" For example, with the "Water Fuel Car" product, I send them a link to a page where the customer can download over 11 different Hydrogen Cell plans to use with along with the DIY plans they purchased. I just happened to have a collection of these DIY plans so I figured why not just give them away. Hopefully this will give the customer the impression of increase, that they have gotten a great deal and maybe they will not consider getting a refund as quickly as before. At the moment, since clickbank's changes my refund rate has increased to about 2 refunds per 6 sales, where as before it was about 1 out of 7. I know i'm not supposed to email people after transactions, but they are MY leads and i'm giving them something free...no follow up emails just a bonus so i think its a good idea. That's a good idea.... I've also responded to tickets asking how I could help my customer and that's helped decrease them as sometimes the customers just need a direction on where to go. However, overall the refunds have increased on my end as well with this new ticket system.
