The last days I received some SPAM (and probably SCAM) by PM. Today I received another one from a new user 'ratulibrm':

(It goes on for quite some time).

This kind of spam can be reduced significantly by :

    1. limiting bulk PM. There is normally no reason to PM in bulk. Maybe only the forum admin should be allowed to PM in bulk, normal users should not. And I think new users without any post should not be allowed to send PM to more than one person at a time

    2. limiting the amount of PM's users can send per day. PM is not the medium to send hundreds of messages a day. Users should not be allowed to send large amounts of PM in a short time.

    3. filtering messages. If someone sends the same message to tens or hundreds or even thousands of other people it is probably SPAM. This should auto-alert a moderator.

there should be an alert button, like on the boards. that way its easier to report spam emails

BTW I don't believe the real Jeroen Wijering has anything to do with this scam. He is a guy from the Netherlands (just like me) while the phonenumber you are supposed to call is not. I forwarded this spam/scam to Jeroen by email so at least he knows.

Spammer is creating multiple accounts. Forward to a mod who is online as soon as you receive one.
