Adwords campaign are so expensive for SaaS software Industry. Is there any other way to beat the highly competitive keywords that can increase the leads?

Yes, you'll have to target more specific phrases and lower competition keywords. Doesn't really matter if the keyword gets searched less, you're looking for conversions (money) not just clicks/traffic. So a keyword may only get a fraction of the traffic as a highly searched keyword but may convert into a sale/customer better than 1,000 visitors from the highly searched term.

Many people think because everyone is targeting a certain keyword, that it's profitable and they too have to target that keyword. This is usually not the case. Every business is different. Google likes this because it drives the PPC up for these keywords. Some of these companies may be losing thousands of dollars and not converting into sales.

For example, you wouldn't want to target "SaaS software" for an Adwords campaign. Everybody is targeting it, price is probably way too expensive and it's too broad. You want Keywords that will convert like "buy SaaS software", "purchase SaaS software", "buy SaaS software online". You want the traffic that's ready to buy, not just looking. Hope that makes sense, I don't even know what Saas software is haha.

Maybe try using a different platform like LinkedIn? This way you can target in a business context, and drive them to download a whitepaper (instead of just trying to force a sign up). Since it's a SaaS product it will probably take a longer time to move the prospect through the funnel, to eventually convince them to buy. Most effective way I've seen is by offering a whitepaper/case study that they can download and you can have a team member contact them after.
