Idea for a site

Can I create a site with just a nice banner and google search [similar to how seen on google.com] and just have that, or would this violate google's tos? thanks

 

U can make any type of site but u can't put same banner or images as google have.

 

lol I don't want to use someone elses images ha ok. You know the google search and you make money off that? Well, pretty much have it dead center on my site, have my custom made banner right above and that would be the site ... pretty much

 

It is not going to be easy to promote a site with just a banner and a Google search box .. he, he

You dont' want to be mimicing Google.

I think it will be very hard to promote a site that only has a search box when you clearly are not Google.

Nah.. just an alternative lol. people might bite, they would be getting their searches after all .. I saw one like that, but it said you'll win money, and that was definately against google tos

Maybe u can work the google, Yahoo and MSN API and make a combined Search ...

Sieve out the top 10 from each.. filter out duplicates and list the top 20 only ..

Call it 20Sites.com and the marketing pitch would be the 'best of the best'.
