Idea for a New Site

I have an idea for a new website for bloggers. I have it all planned out in my head and on paper, but I don't have the skills to put the website together. I know basic html, but I want something fancy...web 2.0ish. How to I go about finding someone to put this together for me? My other concern is when I do find the right person to do it how do I know they won't steal my idea.

You could ask them to sign a no compete clause.

In your case, most people hire a website designer to do that part. No one will do it for free, trust me.

In a simple search for website makers on Digital point, you find many.

A nondisclosure agreement (NDA) could help you in this early stages of design. You still probably need to discuss the logistics with the designer(s) before they start the project. Also to get some feedback from people about how valuable the idea really is and if it will work.

Most people suggest to be open with your ideas because for the new people they most times aren't gems. When you're more experienced you can judge better to whether or not to leave your idea open for discussion or under wraps.

So after almost a week of obsesiving over this idea and how to get it up and running I have come to the conclusion that I need feedback on the idea before I go forward with it. I don't know anyone in real life that has experience with this to get feedback and no one online. I tried all week to get some feedback from top bloggers out there, but no response. In order for this idea to work I will need the help of a top blogger or two to get it started and I do not mind paying. Basically the help I will need is:

    -feedback on the idea
-having them be the first to use my site
-reviewing my site on their blog

My question to you is how do I go about getting in touch with a top blogger?

You can use an NDA if you're really keen on the idea. Other than that, it's always a risk.

You need to find someone in your local area and spend few $ on legal documents before start your project.I think best way to " nondisclosure agreement (NDA)" through law firm.If your budget and idea allowed.!Good Luck.

Don't waste your money on an NDA from a local law firm unless you have Armageddon insurance on your home...
There's free ones online and you just have to read them and modify for your purposes. It's not rocket science. I know plenty of smart business owners that do exactly that, and since your starting up you should always save as much money as possible.

Hire a web designer. And I say hire because you won't find anyone that'll do it for free. Often times you have to pay hundreds of dollars. But if your ideas is as good as you say it is, you should quickly make that money back, right? Anyone, everyone needs helps sometimes, but in my opinion it's best to learn and do it yourself for the stuff like that. That way you can do it 100% how you like.

Use elance or other such and hire somebody with bad english and good programming.

A non-compete is only as good as your pockets and willingness to defend it
