How about a forum that's a democracy... Like there's an elected group of people that moderate and make/enforce the rules... That would be neat... Anyways, for all those designers that are bored, get to work!
Sounds good at first...but forums are run the way they are for a lot of reasons...and it just makes sense even though the rules suck sometimes. Good thought though. Perhaps you could expound on it and come up with a way to enforce all of the needed areas and still keep the general idea.
