need some help with direction on what pc I should buy. uses: multitasking, office work, watching online movies, playing current pc games , and keeping up with the times and future. I live in canada. I was looking at i buypower. and or cyberpower. for a custom build for around 700 to 800 or even 900 if it's really good,, but wont go over 1000$
cyberpower has been around for a while, name brand products, great on price. I still say build your own. For 700 bucks, you can have that 1000 computer if you did it yourself. Go with intel i7, amd quads arent worth it unless your gonna risk overclocking, MSI motherboards are well worth it, 4gig minimum ram, 2xATI video cards crossfire compatible. Don't buy one expensive video card, buy two for each being half what youd spend on one, get a lot more performance. Go for dual monitors, twice the workspace is worth the extra 150 bucks.
Use AMD processor. It's cheaper than Intel. The performance is also as good as Intel. Make sure to buy a processor with core more than 4.
AMD is best but performance is little bit go down against Intel I prefer Intel i3 or i5. i had other options like core 2 due e7500.
make sure you have a quad core, around 6+ gbs of ram, and a dedicated graphics card. as long as its a desktop, any brand will do.
You can take any new one pc with average characteristics and will be cost about 800 for you. I wouldn't suggest you to buy the coolest or advertised computer, because they will be 'old men' in some month.
Buy a MAC, one you go mac you never go back. Since owning a mac, i will NEVER buy a windows pc again. A mac will run most if not all the programs you want. Now with steam and the app store apple has a lot of games as well.
Sorry mate but your are dead wrong. Your info is 5 year old... AMD is neither cheaper nor equal than Intel counterparts these days. Sandy Bridge owns Star in a TKO. Even dual core i3 out-performs quad core phenom II. Star is out, Phenom is dead.. You should only buy an AMD cpu if either a) You are upgrading you existing AMD system or b) You budget for CPU is less than $100 as cheaper Athlon II still packs a punch for it's price. or c) You are an AMD fanboy and wouldn't buy intel even if it were the last remaining CPU manufacturer on earth. Bulldozer, the upcoming AMD architecture, aint out before 4th Q this year.. Till then Intel rules the mid and high end market.
Go for an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5-2500 it's a god balance between cost/performance and quieter than Amd versions. You can spend a bit less using Amd cpu, and if you don't use very cpu intensive application you won't notice the difference. 8 gb of ram, Samsung 1gb hd + Radeon 6850 1gb video card
Go for 6 core processor in AMD which is worth buying . AMD give you good performance with ATI graphics cards and any medium range mother board with graphics will give u best output i say! it would hardly cost u around 700
i had formula about buying desktop. if your budget below $500 then go for AMD. if you can afford sandy bridge then go for Intel period.
hello you can go with intel new series like Intel i7 970 Six Core it will be having 6GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600Mhz Memory NVIDIA GTX570 1280MB Asus P6X58D-E or Intel i7 2600K Quad Core but when compare to the IMD Intel is super and it is like a rocket you can go for this new series of INTEL
