ID question

New to adsense,

My ID as stated on the accounts page starts with a ca-pubxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is that common? Should the ca be left off? I know Google will create the correct code with the correct ID if you go through the set-up but I just create the channels for tracking. I mostly have script based sites with pre-existing adsense, where you input your ID in the admin section.

Where are you trying to put the code? revenue sharing on dp? your site?

 

My site. There is a space for Google ID in the admin module for advertisements. I could put the wrong strin gin and not know it for weeks because the sites are new. Ca or not CA?

if the code is wrong it will show PSA ads
