    submit your blog to blog submission directories, create RSS feed for your blog and submit that feed to rss directories, do comment posting on relevent blog post.

    I think first of all try to add some good content for a month or two then submit in the directories so that they could add your blog easily in their pages because sometimes if you don't have the relevant content administration could reject you link..

    To increase page rank you need relevant back links from same niche blogs . This is possible only if you can write a good quality content on controversial story . Their are many user do such things and than they enjoy the back link trains in which people starts arguing against him .

    Write 12 articles a day, one every 2 hours, and make the site active in every social media and RSS service available. You can dominate by numbers but I don't think any one person can keep up such a torrid pace. Popular blogs today do it with a team of writers.

    On hte contrary, google actually doesn't give them any weight whatever. I know since I own one myself. Google always gives more weight to websites which give more wieght to their SEO. simple .

    Just build pagerank and build up your ranking on the search engines in regards to more backlinks and more content -- some can be scraped using wp-o-matic, others should be powered by unique articles
