ICQ can be a way of getting visitors to your site?

one of my friends told me that he sends messages to online icq users everday to come to visit his 3 sites and as he said his sites got really so many visitors

do you think can be a good way?

any problem with google team for this?i mean suddenly the visitor number increases

is your friend a spammer ? there were some guy on my msn list and they were doing the same think to me . i have deleted all of them now

 

no i think he was just looking for ways to increase his visitors like we do in any way

 

Well that is direct approch policy-You dont directly call people to visit your site,try to meet a man first and then tell him to visit site.

 

hes spamming his lists. or he has a bot that does it for him. people buy lists of icq user names and do that a lot.

 

that sucks big time, I get spammed at least twice a week

 

Same problem with my Skype account - that is no good spamming people...
