Iconsurf problems - anyone else??

    Noticed in my logs I got hit by a crawler from iconsurf a couple of days ago (http://iconsurf.com). Now I am getting hundreds of hits on my favicon.ico :mad: , presumably because everytime someone goes to this lame site it displays my favicon as one of the "randomly generated" inline items. or people are just downloading it.

    Anyone else had any problems with this??

    Seeing as how you get nothing out of it, you can disable this HotLinking if you so desire.

    Thanks for that, I'm MS hosted so all that nice apache .htaccess stuff is a bit of a pain to use (or so I have read in other posts here) ;)

    I've emailed the hostmaster of this site and asked to be removed, got a reply too :D

    Im sorry, newbie in here. Is this favicon.ico counted in SERP? I never used any favicon.ico, and willing to get one if it had an impact on my site position.
