I have lunched a new website, www.iconspedia.com where you can easily find free icons from all categories, all in PNG format.

Please tell me your suggestions and opinions concerning concept, design, functionality and seo.

I had a chance to go over your website today.

My Thoughts

Domain Name
I like the domain name because it tells you what the site is about right away.

Logo
Very nice logo. The only thing I could recommend here is place a tag line that says something like: 'Your Source for Free Icons' or 'Free Web 2.0 Icon Source'

Template
Very nice design. I tried it out in 3 different browsers and over all it looked well. I did find problems with Internet Explorer. The logo area loses its transparency and the navigation links on the left don't collapse properly. See image below:



Contact & Submit Page
I would recommend captcha on these two pages for security purposes.

Conclusion
Overall... a very impressive website! Thumbs up for all your work.

This review was done using 3 web browsers (FireFox 2.0.0.9, Internet Explorer 6.02 & Opera 9.24) on Windows XP SP2.

I have Internet explorer 7 on Vista and i didn't noticed any problems with the logo. I will try to fix that asap.

I had a chance to look at your site again but this time in Internet Explorer 7. As you had mentioned, things do look well in this version but it still looks off in 6.2

I would still recommend that you add some captcha where needed just for security purposes.

Question: Did you design the icons yourself?

nice icons, like the sleek look, but is it ie 6 or is your logo bg blue?

 

The problem is with IE6 and transparent PNG. The good news is that i have found a fix fo it

My first impression of the site was that it is beautifully designed. I like the colours very much, and also your logo ( the pink and blue go very well with the black background ).

I like your menu system as well. Was that made with Mootools ??

i like the template, but you could make the left menu a little more distinct..perhapses a "light black".
I really like the design, the icons(content i mean) and the presentation.

Nice site. Nice idea...all around, I give it a 9.5. I like the whole idea and look of it.
You should be able to build a decent email list to show off your latest creations.
