Need an icon designer who can design high quality icons for a site I am developing that will sell icons in foreign markets. My site will not compete with yours, as I am planning to sell in exclusively non-English speaking countries where I have connections. I require resell rights, or profit share of Icons sold. There are a number of LGPL and GPL icon sets that alreadt exist and you could redistribute or even charge money for. I recommend checking out Oxygen icons, oxygen-icons.org Tango icon project Those are certainly two of the best. Alternatively, you can usually find some good open source icons at kde-look.org just be sure to mind your licences, you want LGPL or GPL.
I have looked for resell rights Icons and found a few packages of pretty good quality. Will certainly check out the sources you mentioned. Thanks for the heads up!
