Contest Icon Design Contest. iOS mobile App $25 (48 hours)

Hi. I am doing a co-contest with @David Garcia so we will both be replying to give feedback.

This icon will be used for an iOS app called B!G BRA!NS.

B!G BRA!NS is a trivia games about quotes.

The app's primary colors will be the BLACK, GRAY AND WHITE, though softer colors might be also considered. The Icon must be perfectly square, with no rounded corners.

Below is the color palette:

Hex Color- #FFFFFF, #000000, #ECECEA, #B0A479, #464136





The winner will need to provide the logo in vector.

I will not accept any private message (PM) submissions. This will help in giving feedback, and also benefit your talent and insight.

The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Please let me know if you have any questions.

This is great. I love the colors you used and the figure. I particularly like the one on the bottom left. Is there any way to make it more brain loooking and instead of the lines inside some quotes signs (""). Great job.

@thisismyusername The last one is great. Can you probably try to have the actual quotes signs (see attached picture) inside or outside the brain. I'm trying to look for something minimalistic but that gets people's attention. Good job though.

 

@Athisa I really like the one on the upper left corner (see atached picture). It is one of my favorites so far. Can you change the letter to a more classical font, something along the lines of Helvetica, FF Din or Bodoni? And also, can you make the brain smaller and put it in between the quotes signs?

 

@iamwiki Reeeeeaaaallly nice. Is there any way to put some quotes signs anywhere in there? Something similar to the attached picture, but in black?

@Kic3 I like the idea of your design. Can you make it more brain looking, and use more blacks and white? Great work!

@Tarcea Sergiu Very smart concept using the brain and the quote sign, I love it. Is there any way to have two of those within the brown square, and smaller but recognizable letters inside the brown square too. Maybe even making a bigger brown square? Super sweet idea.

@Tarcea Sergiu I like your idea the most so far. I think is very creative and I love that the brains are the quotation marks. However, when I talked to some of my co-workers, they all had problems realizing that they were quotation marks. Is there something we can do about it? Maybe the colors?
