ICICI GOLD DEBIT CARD

    I have got few question regarding ICICI Gold Debit Card. I'm from India.
    If you are having same card, please help me .

    I just wannna know how much money is needed for opening an account to get gold debit card ?

    According to location , it depend how much money your need for open Debit card gold account. Please define your location also. Minimum is 10,000INR.

    To get debit card, you need to open account in Bank.
    So, if you are in a big city, you can open account with 10,000 balance or if its semi-urban it could be 2500 or 5000 depending upon the type of city.

    I have heard that by ICICI Gold Debit Card my Paypal account will get verified. and I'll will be able to send to money to anyone using that !

    Even if that is true, I suggest you opt for a credit card and avoid using a debit card with your paypal account.

    Credit cards have limits and can be charged back. That makes them less risky. You can get a credit card against a fixed deposit from ICICI bank. I use the same.

    Rs 10000/- is required .But Please avoid using debit card for any on-line transaction.Its very difficult to track a transaction done via Debit card.

    U can try GOLD,SILVER,Titanium what ever u can but ur result will be nil .
    U cant use Debit card in paypal .
    Personally tested.

    Those who claim that " yes u can use debit card in PayPal " ( Indian user) knows nothing .
    In India Some bank debits card previously works in PayPal because of bin arrangement .
    Some bank debit and credits card bin was same and because of that PayPal thought it is a credit card and allow to work but now PayPal introduce two layer of verification just like Google Checkout .
    And Now u cant use debit cards in INDIAN PayPal
    Better Go for HSBC Premier account and get a HSBC Premier credit card it is the best card so far in INDIA.

    I can attest personally that for a long time now ( almost 1 year), I use ICICI VISA International smart shopper debit card (not gold card) for my paypal and also payza accounts to send money as well as verifications purposes even though I have a ICICI credit card because I don't like the fees on CC.
