    Hi
I hope some Indian experienced guys here in this forum, Please share your experiences if you use ICICI credit card,

Here I want to tell my opinion,

few months before I bought ICICI credit card ,
They allow me take money limit as 7000RS so I take money when ever I need

for example I take 1000 7 times ,after they send me a statement in that they mention I will pay 7x300 =2100 as transaction fee for those 7 times I take 1000 Rs.

IF I take the 7000RS at a single time means I will pay additional 300RS only SO I lost 1800 RS +service tax for those amount because of my unawareness,

So here any guy USE ICICI credit card means please share your all bad experience here, Because IT will help all , also if you heard this information first time means spread it with all of your known friends,
    Regards

Let me tell you my experince with ICICI Bank, I took a loan on phone from my credit card, my card limit was 2,25,000 Rs. they gave me a demand draft of Rs. 80,000 from it, and then I paid 6 installments of it in next 6 months.
After 6 months they asked me to pay another Rs.80,000 and told me that I took the money twice, and blocked my card also, now I have filed a case against them in court.

If you opting for drawing cash from ur credit card it attracts more monthly interest charges and service charges. Credit card means for meeting expenses like purchases, services etc. Its not an atm/debit card to draw the monney i.e. cash when ever you need.
So please avoid to draw cash using ur credit card. Use if you are in most most important thing.

No wonder private banks are so profitable. :D.

I have an ICICI easy deposit card and I don't have to pay any transaction fees on cash advances. :).

Sbi credit card, never ever go for it, I had one - I applied on the same documents I applied my ICICI card and in ICICI i got a limit of 2,25,000 and in SBI they gave me 20,000 and you know they always charge you hidden charges, so i return that back to them, so be far from SBI or any other bank credit card.

    Friends thanks for your comments,
Also I want some comments from you regarding ICICI special offer , I get frequently some calls from ICICI customer care they are asked to join " online Pay for some bills using credit card ( for example pay my monthly telephone bill) but I refused to join , they told they are doing this one as FREE but I am not believe ICICI bank so always I said " I'm not interested to join ,I ll pay manually no need any help ...."
because I feel they will charge for this service ... if you have any experience please share and here some friends told credit card for only purchase ...
I agree their points but I have two more complain about ICICI
they are taking 800RS to 950RS frequently from my account because I'm not maintaining minimum balance...
This cast is too much..Because I'm not a ritch fellow to maintain 5000RS always, Canara bank monthly detect only 10 to 12 RS but ICICI take more than 30 times why?
also they detect last month 500+ RS for VAT I dont know why they are sucking my RS from account & sucking my blood.....
I hate ICICI bank service ,so I decide to close my saving account soon,

    Hi,

Let me give you an advice regarding credit cards.

Use your credit card as much as you like...but when the statement comes pay the full amount due. Not the minimum due amount. If you start paying min. due amount then you will fall in their trap and believe me its very hard to get out.

    Thanks.

The story is more or less same for all banks - be it private or government-owned. Only thing differs is the fees / charges they levy on various types of transactions. ICICI bank do charge more on cash withdrawals, but at the same time they offer a lot of benefits on credit transactions, including loads of dicounts and cash-back offers. Other banks do offer, but nothing interesting like ICICI.

Remember one thing - credit card segment is one of the most profit making ones for any bank. You need to be very careful & extra vigilant for all your transactions. If your bank offers SMS Alert facility for credit card, ACCEPT it, even if there are charges for it. It will always prove to be extremely useful to track your transactions. Moreover, for ICICI bank, the EMI facility is very exciting and with minimal charges in the industry. Plus it is one of the most widely accepted cards at maximum outlets.

So, my advice is: go for ICICI credit card, but be very very vigilant.
