I just saw this and I am starting to read up on it. This is HUGE. More info I am sure will be coming out in the next couple days but realistically this is really really important to the world. Iceland is a small yet proseperous country. It's not strife with civil war, famine, or drought. It screwed up financially and now it's DONE. Will another country BUY Iceland? Will there be a civil war or civil uprising? What impact will this have economically and mentally to the world market. This seriously shakes things up imho.

Read that...it's from Oct 9. 2008. It's eerie that the tell tale signs and warnings were there and now it's happened.

Iceland of all places. Reminds me of the saying "a cold day in hell" for some reason.
