Hey do you guys noticed that, in the poll there were 44.12% vote for PAKISTAN, And finally they have done it!!

Our Dp members predicted nicely!! But well i didn't predict that correctly. . lol

 

You know what i just don't have any interest in cricket and i don't even watch it ( dun even haf tym for it ) but when i got texts on my cell that Pakistan won the semi final i was like happy as after all its my Country and not only a match.I came to this thread and i said that Pakistan will win this match and even if they don't win the trophy then still its a big achievement to beat some good teams and to get a place in Finals. I don't have tv at home ( dun ask me why ) so i just went to my aunt's place yesterday to enjoy this match as i never miss finals only specially when it's about Pakistan ... I watched the whole match for more thn 3 hours and then went outside for more thn 4 hours to celebrate and it was all like people gone mad and everyone was dancing at roads and few songs of victory + fireworks and all so i think so that was something really great achievement for Pakistanis.
People who are giving negative reps should sign their reps please as we want to thank you all for being so much jealous and people who are blaiming other Indians or country's people please please please don't do that ..
I saw so many Indians supporting Pakistan yesterday and even if it's done by any Indian then don't blame all of them... Just ignore it as one neg rep will reduce their reps as well and rep is not something we should react for
Be happi and let others be happi too ..
jus once again STAND UP for the CHAMPIONS and dun fight like loosers please and i am not pointing anyone but saying it to everyone who are giving neg. reps and who are blaming others for these reps ..

hmmmm in Pakistan, most of the religious families don't like to have a TV in their house, anyways, topic was to congrats Pakistan, many congratulation to Pakistan for such a wonderful victory Btw Champions Trophy also coming soon, so I wish best of luck to Pakistani team for Champions Trophy

 

I am very very happy, after long long time Pakistan wins.we celebrate whole night, we had functiion at see view in Karachi. As a Pakistani i must thankful to all those peoples who participate on this thread and share their views. whoever start this thread but it was very successful thread. haha lol, I've read your whole post and I like that, I just highlight the unique point, Well it's good that you don't have TV, but nowadays it's neccessary to have to get update, I mainly see the news and sports channel if you believe, Infact computer is also a bad thing if you use it in a bad way.. just my point

 

Well that is why i asked for no criticism lol ..
I don't usually cares about updates and there are loads of people around who get you updated as i told you i did'nt even knew about T20 worldcup and just got few text on cells congratulating me and i was like oh so Pakistan won the semi-final of T20.
I dun think anything is necessity of life, its you who make things necessary for you. There are people who can't live without AC (including me maybe) and still there are people who are living without fans so you can't take it as necessity of life .. just an example to explain u sumthing
There are good n bad points watching TV but now a days bad things are mostly leading the good ones and you can see the divorce rate and all the things after media being so strong and specially girls after watching stupid soaps on Pakistani and Indian channels and few days back someone said that QTV is good so why don't you take it as good thing. Being a Muslim, do you think that doing huge makeup and wearing such a pathetic dress and reciting Naat is a good thing??
Well if you talk about computer then i think so it's bad as well but we are 80% using it as work (both of my bros n me) and the rest 20% maybe bad as we talk and interact with people but i more likely take it as a business too and i think so its better to stay away from as much things as you can..
i hate politics so i stay away from news as wel.

I never saw some one wearing pathetic dress and reciting naat, those where normal clothes that you wear, you said you don't have TV, then how can you say things you never saw.

Computer: Computer is basically used by you due to its a mean of survival for you, whenever you browse through internet you can see advertisements on normal sites based on health any thing you will see an advertisement that is its more exposed rather then a shalwar kameez wearing lady at a holy channel.

When you say it 80% people using it for Work you are totally incorrect, the thing is Internet became popular for Online dating, You know it i know it , There are 10-50 Pakistanis AT DP and around 5 Million are using MSN,MIRC,Yahoo,Gmail for Chat, Even worldwide figures might be different but majority is based on online dating, You can't live away while chatting, indeed if you are talking to a boy regarding work he is Namehram.

The thing is the difference when you stay away from the things, you think they are wrong.

Anything isn't good, the money that comes through paypal to you, me and others are based on Interest. Interest = Sood (Hara'm).

The thing is the Sin we do not commit are Total Sin, But which we commit have lesser priority. But everything is equal next to Almighty Allah.

PS : I ain't scholar nor i am punctual with Namaz.
While I know Phyza you won't mind it, because we are good friends, its just to clarify, If i have hurt someones feelings or thoughts, I am sorry.

 

Let me give you clarifications just according to your points:
1) You think wearing short shirts and wearing short trousers/shalwar is not a pathetic dress? Even if we leave the dress and makeup issue, then being a Muslim don't you know that a woman's should not let her voice heard by any male when it's really not important thing.
It's been 5 years i don't have tv and i don't think so these all things are new and also i got relatives who got tv so i am very much known about these stuffs so that was kinda stupid question as if i am a noob to this World

2) I never said that computer is a real good thing and ladies wearing anything are better thn those on religious channels but i just wanted to say that it's not allowed in our religion so we should better stay away and if we are really running a religious channel (JUST RELIGIOUS BY NAME) then we should follow the religion too and try to cover the religion as much as we can.

3)If you read my post clearly then you will be able to see that i never wrote that 80% of people using it for work. I just said WE (ME AND MY BROS) are using it for work purpose 80% and i can proudly say that we are against these online dating or any stupid thing that you mentioned.
If you are talking to a guy regarding work as he is na mehram but its better thn talking with a guy on an online dating site. Also i am not a scholar or great religious person as well but i was just trying to explain the actual thing.
If we are getting some interest from paypal or anything that you mentioned so does it mean we should start taking interests? Don't you think that avoid few things are better thn avoiding nothing? There are only few people who are living a life following all the principles bt that does not mean we should either do everything or do nothing. Everything is gradual and we should start with few things or even one thing is worth it. You never know which good deed is lovable by ALLah.
P.S .. I did mind few things as it's sad to see a Muslim talking like this but well we are friends so never mind

If you choose not to have a TV at home , that is your choice and wish...
But, that doesn't have a religious explanation.

The concept that muslims shouldn't have TV in their house is supposedly based on the fact that muslims shouldn't worship idols. Which means, muslims cannot have photos, and idols at home... For example, you cannot have the photo of an actress, actor, a cricketer or any celebrity.

But, Tv doesn't fall in that category. Its all dynamic in TV.
Many Islamic scholars have said that it is perfectly okay to have TV at home.

Why do you think there are Islamic scholars preaching Islam in TV channels ?

I respect your rights and your choice of not having a TV at home, but the religious connection is not appropriate IMO.

 

I am keen to peel of the cover from the reality, And the thing is certainly not true, You are misguided or been forwarded towards wrong side, I am not a 24/7 QTV shows viewer, Plus if you are talking about short shalwar kameez and trouser that is certainly wrong thing, In these five years i haven't seen such things, If you try any Islamic Channel, Plus if you are so pure about your Saying, you should provide an evidence, You truly agreed you don't have TV, you have heard such things from a Forwarded Sms eh? thats popular. Okay as you skipped the dressing issue tell me one thing don't you apply makeup,skin facial when you are going to any wedding? And doesn't those weddings have full recordings? We bind two souls together but we do it from the sin, such extra ordinary things(dance, music) was that required no that wasn't that.
